Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the outdoors.live website, mobile application, and related services (together, the "Platform"), operated by outdoors.live ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

  • "User" means any person who accesses or uses the Platform, whether registered or not.
  • "Organizer" means a User who creates or manages events, seasons, competitions, or results on the Platform.
  • "Content" means any information, text, images, GPS data, results, or other material published on the Platform.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Use of the Platform

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the Platform in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, other accounts, or connected systems;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform;
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, or scrape data without our written permission;
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

4. User and event content

Organizers and Users are solely responsible for the Content they submit. Event details, start times, results, GPS tracks, and related data are provided by Organizers and third-party timing providers. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that any Content is accurate, complete, or up to date, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it.

By submitting Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

5. Live tracking and results

The Platform may display live GPS tracking, timing splits, and results supplied by runners' devices and third-party timing systems. This information is provided "as is" for informational purposes and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Official results remain those confirmed by the event Organizer.

6. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its design, logos, and software, is owned by outdoors.live or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for Content you own, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. Third-party links and services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (for example, timing providers, video platforms, or payment processors). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, outdoors.live shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless outdoors.live and its representatives from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform or your breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using the Platform and request deletion of your account at any time.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Romania.
